Musubi is a principle that expresses many qualities.
Musubi in food means rice ball. However its true meaning is the balance of wet and dry qualities that keep the rice ball together. This then is the harmonisation of yin and yang that create the circle of Harmony.
Musubi can mean “tie the knot” and also marriage. In this way when we get the balance of energies right in ourselves, it gives birth to a third force we call Ki.
Musubi is also a state of contained energy like having a sealed aura. Certain actions disperse our energy and others gather and contain and create a magnetic force – which then attracts things to us. This is one of the reasons we have good luck and can attract things to us. Musabi is a quality that is developed through all the Shin Sen Arts.
